Filming for The Sarah Jane Adventures began last week, according to The Doctor Who News Page, with K9 apparently making an appearance. TDWNP have photos, so you can click the link to check them out – oh look, here it is again! – and they also posted a spoiler which I’m going to reprint after the jump.

You may hear, every so often, nerds on the internet voicing the popular opinion that Matt Smith “looks like he’s been drawn by Frank Quitely”. For those not familiar with the work of Comics’ Greatest Artist (Yes He Is So Shut Up)TM, we thought it would be handy to provide a visual aid so that these people can see what we comics nerds mean.

That. That’s what we mean. Feel free to cut it out and pin it on your wall for the next time someone makes the reference.

And yes, we will be posting a “The Eleventh Hour” review at some point this week, just as soon as Cappsy gets round to figuring out how to vocalise a shared sense of unadulterated joy.

This can’t be right. BBC News are reporting on rumours that have sprung up overnight, that Matt Smith has elected to only stay on as the Doctor for a single series, and will be leaving at the end of this year. There’s already heavy speculation, most notably over at Digital Spy, that Paterson Joseph is already signed on to play the Twelfth Doctor, having been secretly cast at the same time as Smith in order to prepare for a surprise regeneration in this year’s Christmas special.
