I still refuse to join the consensus that says the introduction of five differently-coloured new-design Daleks were simply a cynical ploy by the BBC (presumably egged on by Character Options) to sell more toys.

… but it’s working on me.

Seb Patrick once met Paul McGann, who immediately pretended to be Mark McGann. He writes for Den of Geek, BBC America, Film4 and the official Red Dwarf website, among others. He owns over thirty toy Daleks and wishes the Dapol factory tour was still open.

  3. Do the humpbacks of the toys match the screen appearance exactly? My impression – and it might be wrong – was that the first Adventure Game altered them slightly. I’m hoping that there will simply be a discreet modification of the on screen dalek prop some time between series, keeping the enlarged back for whatever purpose it was originally put there, but tidying it up a little.
